Epic doesn’t begin to describe this commercial. It’s been around awhile but that doesn’t make it any less fantastic. And it’s Australian. That’s makes everything better. Australia is like 1950′s America on mescaline. Mad Max, that’s all I’m saying.
So imagine a room full of ad execs compiling a list of everything that defines men and the 1980′s. But these ad execs go to eleven. Bodybuilding, ferrets, kung-fu movies, the DeLorean, helicopters, drums, cassettes, trophies, something that looks like a beer filled wild cat – oh and beer. Cue the Knight Rider theme song and slam that all into a 60 second spot. That’s what I’m talking about.
Titled “Super In, Super Out,” the advert is for Hahn Super Dry, which is apparently an Australian beer with a testosterone level that goes to eleven. The ad finishes with the on-screen tagline “Super goes in, Super Dry taste comes out.” Super indeed. Check out the video below. Prepare for more testosterone than you thought possible in 60 seconds.
