The World’s Largest Coffin Is Also A Restaurant Run By UndertakersA group of undertakers in Ukraine have built what they think is the world’s largest coffin.  I’d find it hard to argue otherwise.  What do you do with the world’s largest coffin?  Why turn it into the world’s first coffin restaurant – that’s what.  It’s called Eternity, and it’s serving a range of death themed dinners.  Diners can browse the multitude of funeral paraphernalia before ordering from a menu that includes “Nine Day” and “Forty Day” salads (apparently named after local mourning rituals) and a dish called “Let’s meet in paradise”.

The World’s Largest Coffin Is Also A Restaurant Run By UndertakersThe 65 foot long coffin resides in the town Truskavets in the west of the country near the Polish border.  The undertakers hope that their restaurant will be confirmed as the world’s biggest coffin, attracting tourists to a region otherwise best known for its mineral-rich bathing waters.  I can’t see folks heading there for a deadly meal, but it’d be a nice pit stop if nothing else.
