Let’s say you’re on thinking about a barbecue in the backyard but you’ve decided cooking on the deck is a bit common.  Let’s, for the sake of argument, say you’ve got $50,000 burning a hole in your pocket as well.  Hight end adult toy purveyor (no, not that kind of adult toy) Hammacher Schlemmer has something for you.  The BBQ Dining Boat.  Looking for all the world like an oversize inflatable pool toy, it’s a small round boat set up to take you and nine friends on a very slow journey over very calm waters.  Open fire, meat, alcohol, and a crowded boat, what could possibly go wrong with that?  Seems like there’s a very likely outcome absolutely no chance of a small-scale Poseidon Adventure occurring on a quiet wealthy lakefront near you.  Maybe I’m just jealous.

Too me it sounds like the 1% need a bit more danger in their lives.  Sure, as-is there’s always fire danger.  I’d like to imagine that if I were to have that much disposable income I’d buy two and outfit them with powerful gasoline outboard motors.  BBQ Bumper Boats anyone?
